The big question is whether Lysacek, 25, will be the main act in San Jose next year for the U.S. figure skating championships, Jan. 22-29. For the first time in a decade, he skipped the competition, held last month in Greensboro, N.C. Although Lysacek hasn't officially retired, many wonder if his competitive career is over.
